About Burningsuit..

The Burningsuit Consultancy was formed in 2000 by Stuart Box following a successful career in IT management with corporate IT companies and latterly as Head of IT at Sussex Enterprise. The company was formed to address the many IT needs of SME’s where Stuart recognised that only by making the best use of Information Technology can a company thrive and ensure a profitable future.

In his role as an IT consultant, Stuart helped re-vitalise many organisation's existing technology investment, advising on future directions and helping set long-term strategy to maximise the benefit from technology. Stuart became the UK Online for Business Broadband Champion for Sussex, and also lectured on e-Business at Brighton University. Stuart is a Microsoft Certified Professional, an Associate Member of the Institute of IT Training (IITT) and an IITT Institute Certified Training Professional.

Alison Box joined the company as a partner in 2001 after working as a senior trainer at a large training company. She brought with her over 30 years experience in IT applications training, changing the emphasis of the company away from mainly IT consultancy to IT training and training consultancy. Alison is a BA (Hons) graduate, a Fellow of the IITT and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

In early 2006, the company rebranded as Burningsuit Ltd and the portfolio of training courses delivered expanded to include all Microsoft and OpenOffice applications as well as a wide variety of technical courses. The company now also focussed on supplying portable classroom equipment for onsite training delivery. Since then, Burningsuit has built up a large client base ranging from multinational corporate companies to smaller local organisations. In 2010 Burningsuit launched their "Virtual Classroom" service; live, instrucutor led on-line training. Using the latest online technology they offer their successful accredited courses to anyone with just a PC and an internet connection.

In October 2010, Burningsuit Ltd was accredited as a Gold Standard training provider by The Institute of IT Training. This achievement recognises Burningsuit's commitment to delivering the highest possible standard of training and the quality of the training service that they provide.
