FrontPage Tips
Use
percentages for your tables if you want your Web site to look great in all
screen resolutions.
You
probably already know that FrontPage displays the time necessary to download
your page in the status bar. Did you know that you can also adjust that time
estimate for any bandwidth you desire? Simply click on the time displayed in
the status bar and select the desired bandwidth. FrontPage will
automatically update to show you how long the page will take to download at
whatever bandwidth you choose
To
match the font colour to another colour on your Web page, use the eye
dropper.Go to the Format menu and select Font. Click on the Colour drop down
list and then select More Colours. Click on Select and your mouse will
change to an eye dropper. The eye dropper will pick up any colour from your
web page as you move the dropper over it. When you have the colour that you
want, click OK.
To
select a table cell, hold down the Alt key and click in the cell. Hold down
the Shift key if you want to select cells that aren't next to each other.
If
you want to create an easy hyperlink to a page within your Web, then make
sure that the page that will contain the hyperlink is showing in Page View
and drag the page that you want to hyperlink to from the Folder List to the
first page. A hyperlink is inserted automatically and is named with the
title of the target page.
