you: With Microsoft Office 2007 there has been a major overhaul
of the user interface and many things have changed. The menus, toolbars and
task panes have been replaced by a single palette of commands called The
Ribbon. This is intuitive and very powerful but different from previous

for example that you want to change all text that is bold, 12-point and Ariel.
Simply position your cursor in a section of your document containing this
formatting. In the Editing section of Word 2007’s Home ribbon, click Select and
choose Select Text with Similar Formatting. Once you have selected the text with
this formatting, you can change it using the options on the Home ribbon
To
send a document electronically, follow these steps. Click the Office
Button and select Send. Choose the appropriate option for sending your document.
Most people will choose the first option, sending the document in Word format as
an email attachment. Some people will be interested in the other options. You
can opt to send your document as a PDF attachment or an XPS attachment. In order
to send your document in PDF or XPS format, you’ll need the Save as PDF add-in
for Word.
Watermarks
can help you manage your documents. For example, you can mark a document as a
copy or as an original. Or, you can mark documents confidential. You can also
assign a priority level, such as Urgent, to a document. To add a watermark to
your Word 2007 document, follow these steps. Open the Page Layout Ribbon and
click the Watermark icon. Select the watermark you would like to add to your
document. The watermarks are arranged by type. Use the scroll bar to view all of
the available watermarks.
In
Excel 2007 you can enjoy increased spreadsheet row and column capacity of 1
million rows by 16,000 columns that enables you to import and work with massive
amounts of data and achieve faster calculation performance.
In
Excel 2007, you can now sort and filter by the colour formatting you have
applied to cells. Click into your data and then on the Home tab, click on the
Sort & Filter icon. Click on the dropdowns for a column title and if you
have applied a colour format to any cells, you can choose to sort or filter by
those colours.
