About Berry Bros. & Rudd
Operating since 1698 from the same central location in London, Berry Bros. & Rudd are Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, and now have offices worldwide. With their history and experience, they stock over 4000 fine wines selected by their Masters of Wine.
Still family-run, they impressively hold two Royal Warrants for H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.

Our relationship with Berry Bros. & Rudd
Several of the merchant’s team attended one of our public Power BI courses in London, and various members of the team have taken multiple consultancy days with us since. As a multinational company operating from various offices and catering to both trade and private buyers, they naturally have a lot of sales and stock data to analyse.
Establishing an understanding of Power BI
Through the training and consultancy we worked with the team to ensure they had the fundamental knowledge required to use the Power BI tool confidently. Catering to beginners, we offered tailored training based on how they would be using the tool day-to-day.
It was a delight to work with some team members across the sessions, seeing how they progressed as analysts with the tool.
What they achieved through training
The team achieved a solid understanding of how to use the tool and make it work for their own business objectives moving forward. This included learning Data Analysis Expressions and the ability to perform a range of functions, in addition to producing aesthetic dashboards.
